Tony was born and raised in China and spent the first 22 years of my life there. At the age of 22, I moved to Australia, where I had the opportunity to meet the Wynns family. They offered me a position in their Master-keying department, which marked the beginning of my journey into the lock-smithing world. Tony brings expertise in master keying, cutting, and understanding complex lock systems. His passion for learning and deepening his knowledge of lock mechanisms drives his commitment to excellence.

How Did You Become a Locksmith?
I began my career in the lock-smithing field in the Master-keying department, where I was initially introduced to the locks and key systems. Over time, I was offered the chance to enrol in a formal locksmithing apprenticeship, which I accepted. I’m enjoying the process, and I’m on track to complete my apprenticeship by the end of this year.
What Do You Enjoy Most About Being a Locksmith?
What excites me most about being a locksmith is the constant opportunity to learn. Every day presents a new challenge, and I’m always discovering something new about lock mechanisms. I find it incredibly satisfying to deepen my understanding of how locks work.
What Excites You About the Locksmith Industry?
The electronic security and lock-smithing industry is exciting to me because it’s constantly evolving. There are always new types of locks and security systems emerging, each presenting unique challenges.
