Meet Amelia Graham –
How long have you been with Wynns Locksmiths, and what’s your current role?
I’ve been with Wynns for a couple of months and I’m currently the Albury Branch Manager.
What first drew you to locksmithing (or the security industry)?
I enjoy solving puzzles and wanted a career where every day brings something different.
What do you enjoy most about your work at Wynns?
The people I work with. I really enjoy being part of the team and working together.
Is there a project, challenge, or moment you’re particularly proud of?
I’m proud of pinning 250 two-position rotor stators and hand-filing 250 tails that needed adjusting. I also created an automotive database from scratch using OneNote and Excel.
What’s something people might be surprised to learn about your role or the Albury branch?
There’s a lot that goes into running a branch. I’ve been focused on improving the structure, organisation and day-to-day operations at Albury.
What keeps you motivated or inspired in your day-to-day work?
Seeing the improvements at the Albury branch and working towards making it an even stronger part of Wynns.
Outside of work, what are your hobbies or interests?
I enjoy video games and board games with my partner and family, and I’m an avid reader. I’m also writing a fantasy novel, which I work on every Saturday morning at the library.
