Meet Ben Wynn –
How long have you been with Wynns Locksmiths, and what’s your current role?
I’ve been with Wynns Locksmiths for 11 years and I’m currently the Business Development Manager.
What first drew you to locksmithing (or the security industry)?
My family first introduced me to the locksmith and security industry, and I’ve been involved ever since.
What do you enjoy most about your work at Wynns?
The people – both our staff and customers. Everyone needs security, and locks can turn up in some pretty interesting places!
Is there a project, challenge, or moment you’re particularly proud of?
I once had to source specialised locks from America for a jewellery store. Finding the right solution was a great challenge and very rewarding.
What’s something people might be surprised to learn about your role?
Locks and security devices are everywhere, so the job can take you to some unexpected and interesting places.
What keeps you motivated or inspired in your day-to-day work?
Helping people find the right solutions to their security needs and solving the different challenges that come with each job.
Outside of work, what are your hobbies or interests?
Outside of Wynns, I moonlight as a professional drummer – playing gigs and entertaining crowds at night.
