Meet Ankit Yadav –

Ankit Yadav’s fascination with locks and security systems led him to pursue specialized training and apprenticeships, eventually joining Wynns Locksmith in Melbourne. Starting as an apprentice, he progressed to a certified locksmith and now serves as an on-road technician. Ankit handles diverse tasks, from key cutting and lock installation to advanced security system maintenance.

He finds great satisfaction in helping people in need, whether it’s unlocking a home or securing a property. Ankit is particularly excited about advancements in electronic security, staying updated with trends like biometric access and smart locks to offer cutting-edge solutions. Outside of work, he enjoys authentic Indian cuisine and playing volleyball.

How did you become a Locksmith?

Position: On road technician.
I’ve always been fascinated by the intricacies of locks and security systems, which led me to pursue a career in locksmithing. After completing specialized training and apprenticeship programs, I joined Wynns Locksmith in Melbourne as a locksmith apprentice. Through hands-on experience and mentorship from seasoned professionals, I honed my skills in key cutting, lock installation, and security system maintenance. Over time, I progressed to become a certified locksmith, handling a wide range of locksmithing tasks, and providing expert security solutions to our clients.
 

What do you enjoy most about being a Locksmith?

One of the most rewarding aspects of being a locksmith is the opportunity to help people in their time of need. Whether it’s assisting someone who’s locked out of their home or securing a commercial property against intruders, being able to provide peace of mind and security to our clients is incredibly fulfilling. I also enjoy the variety of tasks involved in locksmithing, from installing high-security locks to repairing electronic access control systems. Every day presents new challenges and opportunities to apply my skills and expertise.

What excites you about the Electronic Security & Locksmith Industry?

The rapid advancements in electronic security technology are particularly exciting to me. From biometric access control systems to smart locks that can be controlled remotely via smartphone apps, the electronic security industry is constantly evolving to meet the changing needs of consumers and businesses. As a locksmith, staying up to date with the latest trends and innovations allows me to offer cutting-edge security solutions to our clients. I’m passionate about leveraging technology to enhance security and convenience, and I’m excited to see how the electronic security industry will continue to evolve in the years to come..
