Locksmiths Lit Up – Episode 16

Here we are well and truly heading into the tail end of 2020. Let’s kick of September by introducing you to Sian. She is one of our on-road locksmith technicians and we are so happy to have her as a part of our team.

Why did you become a locksmith?

After finishing school I had decided that I wanted to do an apprenticeship. Whilst looking into the apprenticeship opportunities available I came across locksmiths and thought that it looked interesting. I started my pre-apprenticeship and really enjoyed it! From there as they say, the rest is history.

What do you enjoy most about being a locksmith?

As one of the on-road technicians at Wynns.I get to be out and about traveling every day. I really enjoy being out on the road and of course every job is different. I enjoy being able to help people out of stressful situations or heading out on site and completing work which can’t be done elsewhere.

What excites you about the locksmith industry?

It’s an industry which is constantly evolving and changing. No matter how long you have been in the security industry here is always something new to learn, a new obstacle to overcome, and a problem to solve.
