Why did you become a locksmith?
Growing up as a kid I was always interested in keys and how they lock and unlock doors. When I got the chance to organise work experience in high school locksmithing was the first thing to pop into my mind. My uncle Steve was runing a locksmith business and I asked him if I could work for him. 12 years later and I’m still here.
What do you enjoy most about being a locksmith?
I love interacting with the customers and being able to fix the many problems that they have. Problem solving and thinking outside the box is sometimes the most important thing you need to do and I really enjoy that.
What excites you about the locksmith industry?
Seeing the advancements on the lock and electronics sides of the industry is really exciting. I can’t wait to see what is still to come.
